Growing the Food Sovereignty Revolution, Propaganda by Jeff Quattrone is original artwork I did for a solo show at McArt à la Carte in Woodbury, NJ. They are propaganda posters about food sovereignty, local New Jersey, heirloom varieties of food, and one about high fructose corn syrup. I'm working on booking more shows. The last three in the gallery below are the local food variety posters.
Except for High Fucktose Corn Syrup (HFCS), the work is 11"x 17", presented at 13"x19' on archival white foam without frames, digital prints, and are digital collages. HFCS is a deconstructed collage using black and white laser prints, Prismacolor pencils and heirloom corn seed. It's 20" x 30".
Here's an article in Startup, a digital magazine about contemporary art and sociology that I was asked to write about the show.
